2. What Data We Process

We only process the data we need to run our website and shop and to communicate with you. This includes:

Our website baridbastards.ch is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you visit the website, technical data such as your IP address is automatically stored in server log files. This data is used to deliver and secure the website and is not combined with other data.

4. Online Shop (Shopify)

Our online shop shop.baridbastards.ch runs on the Shopify platform (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland, and affiliated companies). Shopify processes the data needed for your order, payment, shipping and, if you have one, your customer account. Our shop data is stored in the European Union.

We use Shopify's built-in analytics to understand how the shop is used (e.g. page views, sales). Shopify uses cookies for this and for features such as the shopping cart. For details, see the shop's privacy policy.

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments (credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) and by TWINT. Your payment data is processed directly by these providers and is not stored by us. Their privacy policies also apply to your payment.

To deliver your order, we share your name, shipping address and, where necessary, your email address or phone number with Swiss Post.

When you email us, we process your details to answer your request. Our email is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland).

The fonts and code libraries used on our website are hosted on our own server. No data is shared with third parties for them.

Some of our service providers are based or store data outside Switzerland, in particular in the EU and the USA (e.g. Netlify, Shopify and Google for YouTube). Data is only transferred to countries with adequate data protection or with appropriate safeguards, such as the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
